This year\u2019s Earth Day theme\u2014Our Power, Our Planet<\/em>\u2014is about recognising the impact of everyday choices. Small changes, made consistently, can have a lasting effect. That\u2019s always been our approach at Easydry. We\u2019ve introduced Easydry eco towels, which can be disposed of in your general waste, recycling, or compost bin. They are 100% biodegradable and fully decompose within 12 weeks, eliminating any harm to the environment\u2014no matter where they end up. \u201cIf you are new to your salon\u2019s sustainable journey, I always recommend just taking on one sustainable practice at a time\u2014such as swapping to Easydry towels, recycling your hair, or being mindful of water use. When this becomes second nature, take on the next. If we try and do everything at once, it can become overwhelming and generally means we fail to maintain any.\u201d<\/p>\n

We also wanted to include Anne Veck<\/strong> in this month\u2019s Insiders Tips. Anne has been a proud Easydry advocate for years, and she\u2019s the perfect fit for this series\u2014not just because of her long-standing commitment to sustainability, but because she brings a perspective that\u2019s often overlooked.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe hear a lot about how to reduce carbon emissions, including tech-based solutions. But there\u2019s still a gap in awareness when it comes to nature. Not everything that helps the climate is good for biodiversity\u2014but almost everything that supports biodiversity also helps the climate.\u201d<\/p>\n
