Easydry - A decade of environmental savings

Easydry has unveiled some stunning statistics to back up their global eco-conscious credentials.

Entitled “A decade of environmental savings” it demonstrates the astronomical savings Easydry has made globally in terms of reduction of water consumption, energy consumption and carbon emissions.

Switching from outdated cotton towels and inefficient laundry systems to eco-friendly Easydry, an average 4-stylist salon can save around 50,000 litres of water a year - that's the equivalent of leaving a tap running for 24 hours a day for 42 days!

Astoundingly, Easydry and their clients has saved 221 million litres of water over the past decade. That is equivalent to over 2.5 million baths and 89 olympic sized swimming pools. Over the same time period, switching to Easydry has meant the brands loyal clients have saved energy which equates to 153 million kettles being boiled. Astoundingly, the carbon savings over the past decade equate to the annual emissions from 2004 cars!

  • Water savings = 89 olympic sized swimming pools.
  • Energy savings = 153 million kettles being boiled.
  • Carbon savings = annual greenhouse gas emissions from 2004 cars.

Easydry CEO Anne Butterly said: “We have always had the environment at the heart of what we do. Our two recent green award wins recognise the work that we do to reduce water consumption on a global scale. These awards celebrate Easydry, our products and our clients. Working together we can reduce water consumption, energy consumption and our carbon footprints by offering the softest, most luxurious and hygienic disposable towel possible” and Anne continues “I am proud of what we have already achieved and we look forward to another decade of environmental savings”.
