We’re proud to share some exciting news. Easydry compostable towels have once again set the standard for sustainability—winning the Sustainable Trade Exporter of the Year 2025. at the Irish Exporters Association’s Export Industry Awards.

This national recognition highlights Easydry’s 20-year commitment to sustainability, innovation, and global growth. It celebrates how a Dundalk-based idea became an international success—helping professionals in more than 25 countries make the switch to compostable salon towels and eco-friendly alternatives.

Two Decades of Sustainable Innovation

Founded in 2003 by Anne Butterly, Easydry has led the way in creating a smarter, greener way to work. Our compostable towels replace traditional cotton towels, eliminating the need for energy-heavy laundry and saving valuable water.

A six-stylist salon using Easydry can save up to 144,000 litres of water each year. That’s real impact—lower bills, cleaner processes, and a more sustainable salon model.

What started as a single innovation for hair salons has expanded into a trusted solution for beauty, fitness, hospitality, and healthcare. Each Easydry compostable towel is made from sustainably sourced wood fibres, certified by the FSC. Every towel breaks down completely within 12 weeks—proving that high performance and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand.

Easydry holds OK Compost Home, OK Compost Industrial, and Seedling certifications, giving professionals complete confidence in product quality and environmental standards.
