Anne Butterly Wins Green Person of the Month Award
We’re excited to share brilliant news with our Easydry community! Our Founder & CEO, Anne Butterly, has been recognised as Repak Green Business Person of the Month on Newstalk’s Business Breakfast with Joe Lynam.
This award celebrates business leaders who are making a real difference for the environment. For us, it’s especially meaningful to see Anne recognised — not just this month, but for her commitment to sustainable innovation over the past 20 years.
Leading Change with Easydry
Back in 2003, Anne launched Easydry with one clear mission: to offer a smarter, greener choice for salons and businesses. In 2005, she introduced the world’s first fully compostable, single-use towel — an idea that changed how salons work by cutting waste, reducing energy use, and removing the need for laundry.
Since then, Easydry has grown into a global success story. Today, our products are used in more than 25 countries. Together with our clients, we’ve saved over 11.7 billion litres of water worldwide —just from making the switch to Easydry!
A Well-Deserved Recognition
Anne’s leadership has always focused on doing what’s right for people and the planet. In 2022, Easydry became the first disposable towel company in the world to achieve B Corp Certification — a recognition of our commitment to balancing profit with purpose.
Over the years, Anne and Easydry have received several awards for sustainability and innovation. Last month, we proudly won the Green Technology Award at the Green Awards — our second time receiving this accolade. These awards show that Easydry’s products deliver real results while helping businesses cut their environmental impact.
