B Corp Certified
Easydry is Recertified as a B Corp
Easydry remains the first B Corp certified disposable towel company in the world. Now officially recertified since June 2025, we’ve proven our commitment to people, planet, and purpose goes beyond a badge—it’s built into how we work.

Easydry introduced the world’s first eco-friendly disposable towel almost 20 years ago when the company was founded. Easydry founder, Anne Butterly, placed sustainability at the heart of Easydry. She had a mission to create an easy-to-implement practice that would help businesses across multiple industries become more sustainable.
Easydry’s commitment to sustainability throughout the past two decades has been recognised again through B Corp recertification. B Corps are companies verified to meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. Today, consumers want to know that the companies they buy from are ethical and sustainable.
To achieve certification, a company must:
-
Demonstrate high social and environmental performance by achieving a B Impact Assessment score of 80 or above.
-
Make a legal commitment by changing their corporate governance structure to be accountable to all stakeholders, not just shareholders.
-
Exhibit transparency by making their performance publicly available on their B Corp profile.

Easydry certified in 2022 with a score of 98.7. After our first reassessment audit, we’ve increased our score to 117.3—more than double the median score of 50.9. This recertification proves Easydry continues to improve across all areas: governance, workers, community, environment, and customers.
To maintain B Corp status, companies must pass a full reassessment and verification every three years.
Easydry is delighted to be part of the growing B Corp community of over 8,000 businesses around the world. These companies span more than 150 industries and 90 countries. Thousands of organisations apply each year, but only a select few meet the rigorous standards required for certification and recertification.

Anne Butterly announce that Easydry is delighted to join the B Corp community of over 4,000 businesses around the world. These companies span over 150 industries and more than 70 countries. The B Corp community in the UK, consists of over 500 companies and in Ireland, less than 20. Easydry has established itself as the pioneer of compostable towels and a reference point for sustainable products in the hairdressing, barber, and beauty industries. As part of the global B Corp community—alongside brands like Patagonia, Davines, and Ben & Jerry’s—we know our mission to set higher standards is far from complete.
With our recertification and improved B Impact score, Easydry will keep driving greater social and environmental improvements within our company and the industries we serve.
