Anne Butterly Celebrated for Sustainability Leadership with Repak Award

We’re excited to share some amazing news with our Easydry community! Our Founder & CEO, Anne Butterly, has been recognized as Repak Green Business Person of the Month on Newstalk’s Business Breakfast with Joe Lynam.

This award honors business leaders who are making a real difference for the environment. For us, it’s extra special to see Anne recognized — not just this month, but for her commitment to sustainable innovation over the past 20 years.

Leading Positive Change with Easydry

In 2003, Anne launched Easydry with one clear mission: to offer a smarter, greener choice for salons and businesses. Just two years later, she introduced the world’s first fully compostable, single-use towel — an idea that changed how salons operate by reducing waste, energy use, and laundry costs.

Since then, Easydry has grown into a global success story. Today, our products are used in more than 25 countries. Together with our clients, we’ve helped save over 3.09 billion gallons of water worldwide — simply by switching to Easydry.

A Well-Deserved Recognition

Anne’s leadership has always focused on doing what’s right for people and the planet. In 2022, Easydry became the first disposable towel company in the world to achieve B Corp Certification — a recognition of our commitment to responsible business.

Over the years, Anne and Easydry have received several awards for sustainability and innovation. Last month, we proudly won the Green Technology Award at the Green Awards — our second time receiving this honor. These awards show that Easydry’s products deliver real results while helping businesses reduce their environmental impact.
